About the Role
• Plan, organize and coordinate delivery of energy pipeline and facilities projects across multidisciplinary teams. • Oversee design coordination, project controls, cost, schedule and document control, and progress reporting. • Manage scope, cost and schedule change management while anticipating and mitigating project risks. • Ensure quality control processes and promote a high‑performing, digitally enabled, inclusive workplace. • Mentor and develop junior staff to foster collaboration and innovation. • Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic growth plans. • Maintain external focus through industry involvement and building or expanding client relationships. • Lead proposal development, client presentations and negotiations as a brand ambassador for Mott MacDonald.

What You Bring
Mott MacDonald is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Manager for our Energy team in Calgary, AB. The role combines technical excellence with business development and client engagement, leading complex mid‑stream oil and gas projects while nurturing client relationships and driving growth. • Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and securing repeat business. • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of industry procurement models. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with P.Eng registration; PMP certification highly desirable. • 15+ years of project management experience in mid‑stream oil and gas, with a proven track record on pipeline and facilities projects. • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, design criteria and excellent communication skills. • Ability to travel as needed and commitment to health, safety and wellbeing. • Experience contributing to strategic planning, market analysis and client engagement strategies.
