About the Role

• Lead and execute multiple Construction Materials Testing and geotechnical projects from inception to completion. • Review and finalize daily field reports, lab data, and deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and timeliness. • Supervise, mentor, and train field technicians, junior engineers, and admin staff; conduct quality checks on their work. • Manage client relationships across public, private, industrial, and residential sectors, serving as the primary point of contact. • Represent ECS in industry organizations and deliver client‑facing educational sessions. • Oversee contracts, change orders, invoicing, collections, and monitor project budgets and profitability. • Perform site visits to ensure quality assurance and resolve issues promptly. • Collaborate with department leadership on staffing, resource planning, and team integration.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, Materials Science Engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in CMT, geotechnical, or related civil engineering projects. • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to local job sites. • Strong communication and proven project management skills; ability to prioritize under pressure. • Preferred: PE license; certifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET Level II/III; deep knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO standards. • Experience with in‑situ testing, CPT, rebar inspection, bolting, welding, and concrete strength validation. • Demonstrated success in business development or client‑facing roles.
