About the Role

In this role you will perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC systems, handle refrigerants in line with ARCTick licensing, respond promptly to internal and external stakeholders, and collaborate with other trades and subcontractors to support operational delivery. • Perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC systems. • Handle refrigerants in compliance with ARCTick licensing requirements. • Provide timely, professional responses to internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with trades and subcontractors to support operational delivery.

What You Bring

We are seeking permanent Refrigeration/HVAC Technicians to join our workforce at RAAF Base Williamtown, starting February 2026, and welcome candidates from defence, industry or related sectors who share our commitment to respectful, valued, and empowered workplaces. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning, a NSW licence, and preferably an ARCTick Refrigerant Handling licence, along with post‑trade experience, strong fault‑diagnosis skills, a current open driver’s licence, and the ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance. • Hold Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning. • Possess NSW Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning Licence (ARCTick licence desirable). • Demonstrated post‑trade experience in HVAC maintenance and fault diagnosis. • Maintain a current open driver’s licence. • Eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (citizenship required).
