About the Role
The Supervising Electrical Engineer will act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects, conduct coordination sessions, and oversee staff as they perform tasks. Responsibilities also include budgeting, scheduling, staff management, and preparation of proposals and contracts, ensuring projects meet design standards and client expectations. • Conduct periodic employee evaluations. • Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects. • Support technical training and staff mentorship. • Coordinate and assign system design and engineering projects. • Define design standards, specifications, and criteria. • Lead and supervise staff task execution. • Manage construction admin duties (field reports, RFIs, bulletins, addenda). • Prepare monthly invoices and monitor receivables with accounting. • Oversee correspondence with clients, contractors, and owners. • Contribute to firmwide Expert Teams committee. • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. • Draft proposals and administer project contracts and service agreements. • Lead coordination meetings. • Supervise analysis and reporting of system options and building conditions. • Provide 401(k) plan with employer matching. • Facilitate training and professional development courses. • Maintain dynamic Employee Resource Groups. • Allow half‑day remote work on Fridays year‑round.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current PE license, have healthcare design experience, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. The role requires at least 12 years of consulting experience, including three years of supervisory duties, and strong hands‑on design skills with CAD/REVIT.
