About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for one or more medium‑sized projects of low to moderate complexity, guiding project vision, planning, and execution to meet schedule, budget, and scope goals. They will lead a small‑to‑medium team, providing mentorship and contributing to internal leadership. Key duties include preparing technical documents, managing stakeholder engagement, coordinating work schedules, conducting assurance reviews, defining project scope, developing detailed plans, reporting progress, managing resources and budgets, handling risks and issues, and overseeing project closeout and handover. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement, professional development, and maintaining awareness of technology, regulation, and industry best practices. • Lead design and technical solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects across the West Region. • Manage medium‑sized projects end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to scope. • Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations for project stakeholders. • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities to capture needs and address concerns. • Mentor and coach a small team of engineers and technicians, fostering capability growth. • Conduct project assurance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed. • Define project scope, develop detailed schedules, and allocate resources effectively. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. • Oversee project closeout, handover documentation, and post‑project lessons learned.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred. At least 10 years of engineering or consulting experience are required, together with a Professional Engineer license in any U.S. state and the ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 12 months of hire. • Hold a Bachelor’s in a relevant engineering discipline; Master’s preferred. • Minimum 10 years of engineering or consulting experience with a PE license (or ability to obtain AZ licensure within 12 months).
