About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program by handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, overseeing make‑ready processes, and working under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming pool care and chemical logging. • Conduct make‑ready and unit turn tasks, schedule and execute repairs, and assist with exterior clean‑up of grounds and common areas. • Maintain and stock the maintenance shop, adhere to safety and OSHA standards, and support the hazard communications program. • Keep accurate records of service requests, preventative maintenance, EPA/OSHA compliance, and make‑ready status. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and assist with inventory monitoring as needed. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times, and enforce community policies consistently. • Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Assist with general upkeep of office, common areas, and model units. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
The role requires physical ability to work in various environments, climb ladders, lift 100+ lb objects, operate power tools and vehicles, and maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies. • Meet education requirement of High School Diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer and Fair Housing knowledge. • Ability to handle physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools and vehicles.
