About the Role

The role involves working with various construction materials such as asphalt, stone, and concrete. Duties include directing traffic to ensure safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians, setting up and maintaining safe work zones by erecting and dismantling barriers, signs, and cones, and following engineering blueprints and diagrams to ensure accurate measurements and grades. The employee will use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment, and inspect and maintain tools to keep them in good working condition. Work is performed in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. • Operate with asphalt, stone, and concrete materials. • Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure safety. • Establish and dismantle barriers, signs, and cones to maintain safe work zones. • Interpret engineering blueprints to achieve precise measurements and grades. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely. • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of tools and equipment. • Collaborate effectively with on‑site teams through strong communication. • Maintain meticulous attention to detail for high‑quality outcomes. • Work in physically demanding outdoor conditions while following safety protocols.
