About the Role

In this role you will collect, integrate, analyze, and visualize large volumes of all‑source geospatial information, create advanced mapping and visualization products for tactical and strategic audiences, and design and maintain geospatial databases and tools. • Collect, integrate, analyze, and visualize large volumes of all‑source geospatial information. • Create advanced mapping, imagery, and visualization products for tactical and strategic audiences. • Combine geospatial and temporal data for all‑source analysis and research. • Design, develop, populate, and maintain all‑source geospatial databases. • Develop custom scripts and tools to automate data extraction, ingestion, and integration. • Collaborate to design and implement near real‑time GIS situational awareness displays. • Provide quality assurance and control for all ingested data. • Improve information management, streamline workflows, and enhance user connectivity.

What You Bring

The position is on‑site with minimal travel and standard working hours. The environment is fast‑paced and high‑pressure, requiring strong planning, organization, prioritization, and communication skills. Required qualifications include in‑depth knowledge of GIS concepts and software, advanced expertise with ESRI ArcGIS 10.x, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, Military Analyst, Google Earth, Remote View, VII, Photoshop, and programming skills in VBA, Visual Basic, ArcObjects, or Python. Familiarity with geodatabases, GIS web services, and various vector/raster formats is also needed. Desired experience includes automating workflows, integrating disparate data streams, and familiarity with emerging GIS technologies and visualization tools. • In‑depth knowledge of GIS concepts, software, cartography, and production. • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑pressure situations. • Strong visualization skills to transform customer requirements into audience‑specific products. • Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and communication skills. • Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 10.x, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, Military Analyst, Google Earth, Remote View, VII, and Photoshop. • Journeyman knowledge of VBA, Visual Basic, ArcObjects, and/or Python programming languages. • Familiarity with geodatabases, GIS web services, and various vector/raster data formats. • Experience automating workflows and integrating disparate data streams. • Familiarity with emerging GIS technologies and visualization tools.
