About the Role

In the role of Environmental Engineer, you will handle complex environmental remediation projects, make critical design decisions, act as a technical specialist or project manager on mid‑size projects, supervise a small team of professionals and technicians, and perform additional duties as needed. • Perform complex environmental remediation assignments, evaluating and modifying engineering techniques. • Make design and engineering decisions for remediation projects. • Serve as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid‑size projects. • Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include at least three years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for environmental engineering projects, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a closely related field, a professional engineering license for the job location, prior experience designing remediation plans and specifications, self‑motivation, the ability to work independently and within a team, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Minimum three years designing environmental engineering plans and specifications. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS. • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field. • Hold a professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) for the job location. • Experience creating remediation design and specifications. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
