About the Role
Key duties include conducting marketing tours, opening and preparing target apartments, responding promptly to calls and emails, and guiding prospects through the leasing process with enthusiasm. The consultant also handles application reviews, move‑in coordination, lease renewals, revenue collection, and maintains clean, market‑ready community spaces, while ensuring privacy and compliance with company policies. • Conduct daily marketing tours and open target apartments for viewing. • Answer resident and prospect inquiries promptly via phone and email each morning. • Convert incoming calls into walk‑in traffic and schedule viewing appointments. • Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm, following the Weidner method. • Process applications immediately upon receipt and communicate results respectfully. • Facilitate the move‑in experience for approved applicants according to company standards. • Perform monthly competitor property tours to stay informed on market trends. • Maintain clean, market‑ready apartments, common areas, and amenities daily. • Distribute resident correspondence while safeguarding confidential information. • Collect rents, deposits, and fees, and record service requests for follow‑up. • Ensure leasing office is organized, presentable, and adheres to safety protocols. • Comply with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and complete required background checks and drug testing.

What You Bring
Candidates must have prior customer‑service experience, the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment, and strong communication skills across phone, email, and text. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred, and willingness to learn Yardi, Paycom, or other software is required. The role also demands reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and insurance, adherence to dress code, background‑check clearance, and the flexibility to work occasional overtime or across other Weidner properties.
