About the Role
Key responsibilities include monitoring the operational performance of the PBT system, responding promptly to service calls, and interfacing with customers to ensure satisfaction. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, completes associated paperwork, schedules maintenance to reduce part costs, and troubleshoots complex issues under the direction of managers and senior staff. Additional duties involve handling shipments, transporting materials, maintaining inventory documentation, and adhering to regulatory standards such as HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, and radiation safety. Work hours consist of 9‑hour weekday and Saturday shifts with a one‑hour lunch, and flexibility for rotating shifts and overtime is expected. The role follows 6S workplace practices, employs lock‑out/tag‑out safety procedures, writes site‑specific maintenance procedures, and submits timecards and service reports in a timely manner. • Monitor PBT system performance and improve patient experience. • Respond promptly to service calls and ensure customer satisfaction. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with complete paperwork. • Schedule maintenance to reduce part costs and maximize effectiveness. • Troubleshoot complex system issues to maximize uptime under supervision. • Pack, unpack, inspect, test, and prepare shipments of materials. • Transport packages and gas cylinders while maintaining inventory records. • Follow all regulatory standards (HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, radiation safety, etc.). • Apply lock‑out/tag‑out procedures when working with high voltage. • Write and maintain site‑specific maintenance procedures. • Implement and sustain 6S workplace practices. • Submit timecards and service reports promptly with detailed information. • Read schematics, wiring, and piping diagrams; use oscilloscopes and test equipment.

What You Bring
The position requires at least one year of experience as a technician or field service engineer, preferably in a PBT or medical‑device environment. Candidates must be able to read engineering schematics, use electrical test equipment, work safely with high voltage, radiation, and mechanical systems, and lift up to 50 lb repeatedly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work on elevated areas with safety harnesses are also required. • Minimum one year of technician or field service experience, preferably with PBT/medical devices. • Work safely in mechanical, electrical, high‑voltage, and radiation areas; lift up to 50 lb and use safety harnesses for elevated work.
