About the Role
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, workload planning, and team leadership. • Supervise and mentor regional HR Partners, Coordinators, and Assistants. • Train staff on technical processes such as Leave of Absence and Exit Interviews. • Lead recruiting and integration of new HR team members (HRAs, HRCs, HRPs). • Provide support on complex employee‑relations issues. • Coordinate regional training plans and facilitate trainings. • Manage attendee selection for firm‑wide training programs. • Partner with HR Manager on annual salary, GLC, and OPA reviews. • Serve as backfill for HR Partner during extended absences. • Lead integration efforts for Senior Practice Builder hires and shareholder retirements. • Build and maintain relationships with practice leaders, OPLs, and senior leaders. • Ensure high quality of team deliverables (e.g., exit interviews, UKG Pro data). • Facilitate firm‑wide training programs as needed. • Lead HR subcommittees with regional or firm‑wide impact. • Act as primary contact for firm‑wide communications on regional matters. • Lead team staff meetings and participate in RT meetings, OPL calls, etc. • Assist practice teams to maintain high morale and healthy team development.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in HR or a related field. • PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SC certification preferred. • Minimum eight years of HR experience in professional services or a comparable field. • Prior supervisory experience. • Understanding and demonstration of Kimley‑Horn culture. • Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws. • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS systems. • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. • Excellent organization, follow‑through, and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment. • Collaborative mindset for working across regional and firm‑wide teams. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent client service. • Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight trips.
