About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager for Savannah Sound multifamily affordable housing is responsible for maintaining communities to market‑ready standards, delivering high‑level service, and leading on‑site teams to maximize property performance. In collaboration with the Property Manager, the role supports operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control and audits, while ensuring superior customer service to residents and prospects. The position requires overseeing staff hiring, coaching, and performance, maintaining resident files, resolving conflicts promptly, managing the community budget, and working with leasing staff to meet marketing goals, all while adhering to Cushman & Wakefield policies. • Ensure smooth daily operations of the community in a fast‑paced environment. • Assist Property Manager with maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, and audits. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal documentation per company standards. • Track advertising performance and prospect traffic. • Model and reinforce Cushman & Wakefield mission and policies for the on‑site team. • Supervise hiring, coaching, and performance of staff to maintain effective operations. • Maintain resident files and uphold a positive living environment through conflict resolution. • Manage community budget, expenses, and financial reporting. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing targets. • Set and monitor leasing goals, improving staff performance.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational preferred, bachelor's degree favored), at least three years of property management experience with one year of supervisory experience, and strong communication, computer literacy, and teamwork skills. The role operates in a professional office environment with regular travel between properties, requiring physical stamina for standing, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, and up to 15 % travel time. • Demonstrate effective communication, computer literacy (Microsoft Office, internet), and bookkeeping skills. • Meet physical requirements: stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 25 lb, and travel up to 15 % of time.
