About the Role

The Customer Energy Management & Renewables team is seeking an EES Program Manager for the Trade Ally Network. This role will lead recruitment and management of contractors and trade allies who install HVAC, weatherization, batteries, solar panels, EV charging, and smart panels for small‑ to medium‑business customers. The Program Manager will design and deliver strategic energy programs, participating in goal setting, budgeting, market research, evaluation, and business case development. The role also upholds safety compliance, promotes a culture of total safety, and ensures ethical conduct aligned with PSE’s core values and regulatory obligations. • Manage large, customer‑facing energy programs with complex scope and substantial budgets. • Set program goals, targets, and budgets; direct overall execution. • Monitor progress, forecast accurately, and minimize monthly variances. • Develop cost‑effective product specifications and energy‑savings measures. • Lead strategic program planning and business case development. • Conduct market research and apply best practices to program design. • Drive innovation through strategic concept development. • Oversee third‑party vendor contracts, budgets, and performance metrics. • Build and maintain relationships with trade professionals and stakeholders. • Resolve customer issues, propose solutions, and ensure excellent service. • Implement marketing and outreach strategies with internal and external partners. • Collaborate with senior management to maintain departmental consistency. • Execute high‑profile assignments with diligence. • Provide performance feedback and train team members as needed.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of program coordination or management experience. • Proven ability to manage projects/portfolios (scope, budget, schedule, risks). • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to integrate resources collaboratively and identify synergies. • Skilled at analyzing complex problems and delivering solutions. • Experience managing vendor relationships. • Experience creating and implementing quality‑control processes. • Background in trade organization or community outreach. • Excellent customer service orientation. • Knowledge of accounting, finance, or mathematics principles. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Utility industry experience, especially demand‑side management or distributed energy resources. • Familiarity with HVAC, weatherization, and electrical contractor work in SMB settings. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Contract management and negotiation expertise. • Relevant certifications (BPI, CEM, LEED, PMP). • Experience serving vulnerable, low‑income customers.
