About the Role

The Project Manager serves as the chief conductor of standalone multi‑craft, joint‑venture, or EPC projects, overseeing safety, quality, and project controls. In this role you orchestrate engineering teams, technology partners and subcontractors, taking full ownership of safety protocols, quality benchmarks, labor, materials, scope, client engagement and execution across all disciplines. Dynamic collaboration with clients, designers, vendors and the internal project management office ensures every milestone is delivered on schedule and within scope. • Lead and manage the full site team, including Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Quality and Safety Managers. • Serve as the primary client representative, maintaining professional communication with engineers, subcontractors and vendors. • Develop and enforce site‑specific safety plans aligned with MIC corporate safety policies. • Monitor project schedule, review completions, identify productivity issues and implement corrective actions. • Oversee quality assurance, ensuring inspections, documentation and turn‑over packages are completed on time. • Coach superintendents to stay below estimated average labor rates. • Conduct job‑site safety reviews, toolbox talks and safety training sessions. • Coordinate material deliveries, procurement status and material take‑offs from drawings. • Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations. • Review and approve submittals, purchase orders, contracts and change orders. • Maintain project records, daily reports, RFIs, photographs and correspondence. • Manage project controls including productivity tracking, risk logs and master schedule updates. • Lead budgeting, cost forecasting, cash‑flow management and variance analysis. • Negotiate and prepare Schedule of Values, invoices and payment applications. • Recruit and onboard project staff using MIC’s personnel requisition process.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management. • Minimum ten years of field experience on multi‑craft or EPC projects. • Strong knowledge of MIC health, safety programs and relevant regulations. • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and contracts, providing constructability and cost‑saving recommendations. • Demonstrated leadership, delegation and mentorship skills. • Proven commitment to safety, ethics and integrity. • Willingness to travel extensively and reside on‑site for 6‑12 months per assignment. • Physical ability to work 12‑hour shifts, lift up to 50 lb, and operate safely in varied weather and heights.

Benefits

The position is travel‑intensive, allowing the employee to be based anywhere in the United States but spending up to 90 % of the time on‑site. Assignments typically last 8‑18 months, with a company vehicle or allowance, per‑diem, mobilization support and a longer weekend each four weeks to provide home time. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually, plus performance bonuses, 401(k) match, ESPP, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, disability and life coverage, and additional benefits such as telehealth, pet insurance and travel assistance. The role is full‑time, roughly 50 hours per week, and requires pre‑employment screening.
