About the Role

The Maintenance Technician II supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role also assists with base building system upkeep. Core duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on MHE such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes and relays, creating and closing work orders with labor, parts and inventory data, and mentoring junior technicians. Maintaining positive relationships across the facility is also essential. • Promote safety by following all procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance and document all tasks. • Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, including belts, motors, sensors and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive communication across the operations facility.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a high‑school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing MHE or conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical principles, CMMS usage, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, plus the ability to work flexible schedules. Preferred candidates hold an associate or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, understand OEM MHE safety standards, have experience with robotic operation and industrial base building systems, and can troubleshoot basic input‑output functions. The position requires physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders or using an aerial lift, and regularly lifting up to 50 lb. Workers must wear required PPE, move between departments covering 6–12 miles daily, work in varying warehouse temperatures, and spend 1–2 hours a day on a computer. • Meet basic qualifications: high school diploma, 2+ years MHE repair experience, predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, electrical knowledge, CMMS use, MS Office proficiency, flexible schedule. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, knowledge of OEM MHE safety standards, robotic maintenance, and industrial base building systems. • Demonstrate physical ability to lift 50 lb, reach overhead, use aerial lifts, and wear required PPE.
