About the Role

As the primary point of contact for assigned client sites, the Facilities Manager ensures exceptional service delivery while complying with contractual obligations and JLL’s organizational standards. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, overseeing building operations, leading teams, and driving operational efficiencies across the facilities portfolio. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing client relationships and escalation, overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and generator systems, and handling repairs from initiation to completion. You will lead and develop a professional team, manage vendor performance and contracts, and execute financial management duties such as budgeting and reporting. Coordination with fitness, food services, security, transportation, and capital project teams, as well as supporting move teams during relocations, is also required. • Manage client relationships and serve as primary escalation point to meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs. • Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and other critical building systems, handling repairs and maintenance from start to finish. • Lead, onboard, train, and develop a professional facilities team to ensure service excellence. • Manage vendor contracts, performance, payments, and compliance with company policies. • Control budgets, forecast quarterly, prepare annual budgets and financial reports. • Coordinate with fitness, food services, security, transportation, and capital project teams, and support move teams during relocations. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring health, safety, environmental, and risk compliance. • Provide effective leadership and team development for professional staff.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration or a related field (preferred) and a minimum of three to five years of facilities management experience with hands‑on knowledge of building systems. Candidates must demonstrate strong client relationship management, measurable service delivery results, proven financial and budgeting expertise, and effective leadership and team development skills. Preferred credentials include professional certifications such as CFM or FMP, experience with large‑scale commercial facilities, construction project management, vendor procurement, and familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations. Prior experience in client‑facing roles within professional services environments is also valued. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). • Bring 3–5 years of facilities management experience with hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. • Demonstrate strong client relationship management and measurable service delivery results. • Exhibit proven financial management and budgeting capabilities within approved expenditures. • Possess professional certifications such as CFM or FMP (preferred). • Experience with large‑scale commercial facilities, construction project management, and vendor procurement (preferred).

The Facilities Manager position offers a salary range of $108,500–$132,900 per year plus a 10 % annual target bonus, with travel to the San Francisco TikTok campus once a week. The role is based on‑site in San Jose, California.
