About the Role
In this position you will assist in developing strategic plans aligned with corporate goals, perform in‑depth financial analysis to guide decision‑making, and oversee budgeting and financial planning for the engineering function. You will monitor performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The role also involves leading initiatives to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and standardize data across the RD&E portfolio. Strong communication skills are required to convey financial information to both financial and non‑financial audiences. • Partner with RD&E leadership to execute monthly close, forecasting, and long‑range planning. • Conduct variance analysis, KPI tracking, and prepare regular financial reports. • Identify and implement automation and process‑improvement initiatives across the RD&E portfolio. • Support budgeting, financial planning, and risk mitigation for engineering projects. • Communicate financial insights to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders. • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to advance business objectives.

What You Bring
We are hiring a Corporate FP&A Specialist to partner with the Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E) leadership team. The role will support critical financial processes such as monthly close, forecasting, annual and long‑range planning, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and ad‑hoc reporting. It offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment and a chance to contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives that transform our operating model. The ideal candidate thrives on change, delivers outcomes with integrity, and values quality. Basic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, mathematics, economics or comparable experience, plus at least three years in finance and three years using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and PowerPoint is required. Preferred attributes are strong analytical and organizational abilities, the capacity to handle large data sets, adaptability to tight deadlines, and exceptional customer‑service follow‑through. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics or 10+ years relevant experience; 3+ years using ERP (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel. • Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and data‑analysis skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Exhibit exceptional customer‑service follow‑through and adaptability.
