About the Role
The candidate will coordinate and schedule daily less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, ensuring that deliveries align with cost and timing requirements. This role demands a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include accurate processing of shipments, precise data entry, and proper labeling of each load. The incumbent must communicate professionally via telephone and email with both internal and external customers, and prepare timely paperwork for drivers. Maintaining clean work areas and adhering to established processes for shipping documentation are also essential. Physical duties involve lifting up to 50 lb and remaining seated or standing for approximately 95 percent of the workday. The role may include periodic visits to the manufacturing facility, exposing the employee to seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fumes. • Coordinate and schedule daily LTL shipments • Process shipments accurately while managing cost and timing • Perform precise data entry and maintain accurate labeling • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers via phone and email • Prepare and verify shipment paperwork for drivers promptly • Follow established processes to ensure timely completion of shipping documents • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Multitask, organize work, and operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment • Work overtime as business demands; adhere to safety and accommodation policies

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; inventory control experience is preferred but not mandatory. No specific licenses or certifications are required. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong leadership, effective written and verbal communication, sound decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. They must be able to multitask, stay organized, work with minimal supervision, and thrive in a team setting and a high-pressure environment.
