About the Role

The Operations Laborer supports safe, efficient general‑labour functions at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center or landfill, including yard cleanup, vehicle fueling, equipment operation, and basic office upkeep. Key duties include cleaning work areas, fueling vehicles, maintaining track equipment, performing yard tasks such as mowing and paper pickup, operating site vehicles (water trucks, pick‑up trucks, sweepers, mowers, etc.), conducting basic office repairs, installing temporary wind fences, directing site traffic, and any other assigned tasks. • Clean work areas and maintain track equipment • Perform yard work such as mowing, paper pickup, and wind‑fence installation • Operate site vehicles (water trucks, pickups, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment) • Conduct basic office maintenance, repairs, painting, and janitorial tasks • Direct site traffic as needed
