About the Role
The Manufacturing Associate provides expertise, support, and direction within their assigned area, assisting the Supervisor in coordinating, facilitating, and motivating employees to achieve High-5 metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean, and efficiency. They lead by example in safety, ethics, attendance, quality, standard work, 5S, product knowledge, interpersonal communication, and professional presence. Responsibilities include receiving work assignments, prioritizing jobs based on order urgency, and effectively communicating daily production goals to the functional team. The associate motivates the manufacturing team, ensuring awareness of production, safety, and quality objectives while guaranteeing timely and efficient execution of customer orders, especially the most urgent ones. The role requires maintaining a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards, providing on‑the‑job training, and developing employee skills across various product groups. They serve as a resource for specialized skill training and continuously assess production metrics—such as cycle time, green‑light time, parts output, and material utilization—to measure and communicate team performance. • Provide manufacturing expertise and support, assisting the supervisor in meeting High-5 metrics. • Lead by example in safety, ethics, attendance, quality, standard work, 5S, and communication. • Prioritize work assignments, communicate daily production goals, and motivate the team. • Ensure timely execution of customer orders, prioritize urgent orders, and maintain 5S compliance. • Deliver on-the-job training, develop employee skills, and act as a resource for specialized training. • Collect and analyze production data (cycle time, parts output, material utilization) to drive improvements. • Conduct product quality checks and promote adherence to quality standards. • Pursue continuous self-development through coursework, certifications, or additional training.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience or an Electronics/Electrical certification, apprenticeship, or degree, basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, and residency within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility. • Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years manufacturing experience or relevant certification/degree; basic Microsoft Office skills; reside within 50 mi of El Paso, TX.
