About the Role
The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers through the entire purchasing process, from first contact to closing, using proactive sales techniques and strong relationship management. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of the housing market and a commitment to providing a seamless buyer experience. Key duties include engaging visitors to assess their needs, generating and closing sales through self‑generated or referred leads, maintaining accurate communication records, and ensuring the Welcome Home Center and model homes are well‑kept. The consultant also travels locally to prospect leads, stays informed on market trends, tracks customer traffic, and collaborates with internal teams to secure smooth transactions. • Engage visitors, assess home buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. • Generate, process, and close home sales via self‑generated or referred leads using the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. • Provide consistent follow‑through from initial contact through closing and post‑closing, maintaining accurate records. • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; coordinate maintenance needs. • Travel locally to prospect leads from Realtor/Co‑Broker relationships, referrals, and self‑prospecting. • Develop deep knowledge of market, product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising, and demographics. • Track daily customer traffic with company‑designated tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma (college degree and real estate license are preferred) and 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales or real estate. Required skills include strong communication, organization, customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools, along with the ability to work independently and meet physical demands of on‑site work. • Minimum 1‑3 years experience in new‑home sales or real estate; high school diploma required; college degree and real estate license preferred. • Strong relationship‑building, communication, organizational, and customer service skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools; self‑motivated, results‑driven, able to work independently. • Physical ability to work on‑site, lift over 50 lb, operate motor vehicle, read plans, climb ladders, and perform other construction‑site tasks.
