Assistant Structural BIM Engineer

About the Role

The position is based in Mumbai or Bangalore and is part of Mott MacDonald’s engineering team. The role focuses on BIM modelling and detailing for infrastructure projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables that meet client standards and project timelines. • Develop 2D/3D models, drawings, quantity take‑offs, and schedules. • Interpret client requirements and standards for model and drawing creation. • Ensure quality control processes are followed and deliver on time. • Standardize workflows and manage electronic information per project needs. • Coordinate with BIM coordinators and project managers. • Promote standardization of components and processes. • Guide, troubleshoot, and train team members on BIM project development. • Assist in modelling and extraction of deliverables.

What You Bring

Candidates should have an ITI in a relevant engineering discipline, with a diploma or degree preferred, and 5‑8 years of experience in modelling and detailing, especially in energy or power projects. Proficiency in Cadworx/CAD SR, AutoCAD, and preferably Revit, combined with strong communication, leadership, and team‑coordination skills, is essential. • Hold ITI in relevant engineering discipline; diploma/degree advantageous. • Possess 5–8 years experience in modelling and detailing, preferably in energy/power projects. • Expertise in modelling RCC and structural steel structures across sectors. • Proficient in Cadworx/CAD SR and AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus. • Stay technology‑focused and aware of industry developments. • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership abilities. • Exhibit a professional, self‑motivated attitude and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
