About the Role

The Materials Operations Intern will work with the Materials Operations Group at the Carrier Collierville Manufacturing Facility to define and improve internal material‑logistics processes. The role will lead and contribute to cross‑functional teams that include operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain to drive efficiency improvements. • Review material delivery routes to identify optimization opportunities for improved efficiency • Develop a tracking system for material movement of critical components • Track receiving metrics to ensure accuracy and provide improvement feedback • Set up a bin audit program for critical components

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills • Self‑driven and proactive attitude • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities • Effective communication at all levels • Team player who collaborates on projects • Previous internship experience preferred
