About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, adhering to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations. Drivers perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and must report unsafe conditions immediately. All duties are scheduled by the Operations Manager or Dispatch, with additional assistance to other drivers as needed. Key responsibilities include dumping containers, cleaning the customer site, and positioning containers so lids are secure and entrances are unobstructed. Drivers communicate customer requests, incidents, and route issues to Dispatch or the Operations Manager and complete required paperwork, tickets, and end‑of‑day documentation. Participation in training, briefings, and safety meetings is mandatory. • Safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes following OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections and report any issues promptly. • Dump containers, clean sites, and position containers to ensure lids are secure and driveways remain clear. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, and route problems to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Complete and submit customer tickets, end‑of‑day paperwork, and required documentation. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings.

What You Bring
