About the Role
The primary responsibility is to maintain the exterior and interior physical condition of the community according to operating and safety standards. This role requires a balance of routine maintenance work and custodial duties to keep both common areas and grounds in excellent condition. • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, grounds, and amenities. • Clean and sanitize high‑traffic areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces. • Monitor and maintain outdoor spaces, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping. • Ensure trash and recycling areas are regularly emptied and kept tidy. • Conduct routine inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns. • Address minor maintenance tasks like light bulb replacement, paint touch‑ups, and furniture assembly. • Assist residents with moving in and out, including loading/unloading belongings. • Provide friendly, responsive customer service to residents. • Collaborate with team to ensure a positive resident experience. • Maintain outdoor landscaping (mow lawns, trim bushes, plant flowers). • Keep outdoor areas clear of debris and litter. • Complete work orders. • Communicate effectively with associates and residents for customer service. • Read and understand policies, procedures, and safety data sheets.

What You Bring
• 0–1 year experience in custodial/maintenance work. • Valid driver’s license. • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper application, and handling. • Understand and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). • Basic knowledge of emergency systems, shutoffs, and their operation. • Knowledge of paint types and tools.
