KBR is seeking a motivated entry-level Junior Sustainment Cyber Security Test Engineer for Colorado Springs, CO, as part of the Military Satellite Communications Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) effort supporting the United States Space Force. The role involves sustaining MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems, terminals, and software applications worldwide from Peterson Space Force Base. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field • Understanding of fundamentals of various operating systems • Ability to troubleshoot complex system problems • Meet DoDD 8140 and DoDD 8570.01‑M certification requirements within 6 months of hire • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Self‑starter, motivated with ability to learn autonomously with limited guidance • INCOSE certification (e.g., ASEP, CSEP, ESEP) – desired • Current CompTIA Security+ certification – desired • Understanding of software design and implementation fundamentals – desired • Ability to undertake new challenges with limited guidance – desired • Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment – desired • Active SECRET clearance or higher – desired

Compensation ranges from $71,000 to $89,000 in Colorado, based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and internal parity. The role is located at Peterson Space Force Base.
