About the Role
In this position you will drive a proactive quality culture throughout the organization, collaborating closely with purchasing, engineering, production and suppliers to prevent defects, improve processes and ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. You will support lean manufacturing initiatives, help qualify new suppliers, and work on new product introductions from design review through prototype build, while actively participating in customer support and day‑to‑day operations to minimise production impact. • Promote Terex Omagh quality standards, right‑first‑time and zero‑defect culture. • Drive a proactive quality culture across suppliers, shop floor and customers. • Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve consistency. • Create and revise quality alerts, control plans, inspection standards and related documentation. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Support lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S and process standardisation. • Qualify new local suppliers for castings, fabrications and machined parts. • Apply statistical methods to fault‑find and develop technical solutions. • Ensure bought‑in products meet quality sign‑off criteria and work with suppliers on non‑conformances. • Implement containment actions and lead root‑cause analysis for long‑term solutions. • Support day‑to‑day operations to minimise production impact from quality issues and report trends. • Participate in new product introduction (NPPD) from design review through prototype build. • Assist with customer concerns and queries.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds an engineering qualification or equivalent experience, has a proven track record in manufacturing environments covering fabrication and assembly, and possesses strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Desirable credentials include internal audit certification and experience maintaining a Quality Management System. • Engineering qualification or equivalent manufacturing experience with quality/supplier focus. • Proven track record in fabrication and assembly environments. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem‑solving techniques. • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Desirable: internal audit certification, experience maintaining a QMS, new product introduction, advanced product quality planning, and customer handling.
