About the Role

The Lean Manager will lead process improvement and knowledge‑management initiatives at a regional level, ensuring alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values. The role oversees Lean processes, resources, and the training of company departments on Lean methodologies. • Train internal staff on Lean tools and transformation processes. • Coach project teams and internal customers in implementing Lean and continuous‑improvement programs. • Lead daily and weekly stand‑up meetings using a co‑facilitation model. • Challenge teams to identify, remove, and resolve constraints hindering commitments. • Maintain consistent standards for Lean tools across projects and the organization. • Teach and reinforce the Work Flow Commitment Loop (reliable promising) methodology. • Integrate and coach the Last Planner System (LPS) practices for project teams. • Customize existing training materials for specific customers and improve them over time. • Serve as an ongoing resource to pinpoint improvement opportunities on assigned projects. • Collaborate with national departments to embed Lean across all work areas. • Facilitate process‑improvement activities such as A3 reports and other Lean techniques. • Mentor and develop Lean Specialists, including creating training and development plans. • Partner with the National Director of Lean to deploy the overall Lean strategy. • Develop marketing messages supporting the national Lean strategy. • Manage regional staffing and project‑support assignments for Lean initiatives.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and brings at least eight years of Lean management or consulting experience, including construction or AEC operations. Required skills include advanced communication, facilitation, and an intermediate mastery of Lean tools, change management, and MS Office.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $117 k to $147 k plus a performance‑based bonus, and the role includes a comprehensive benefits package.
