About the Role
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include repairing and replacing door hardware, performing preventative maintenance, framing partitions with metal or wood studs, and installing doors and windows. The technician must adhere to detailed processes, work both independently and as part of a team, and maintain high service standards in a fast‑paced environment. • Repair and replace ADA operators, door closers, pivot assemblies, and various automatic doors. • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and storefront door systems. • Manage multiple service projects while meeting strict time constraints. • Deliver strong customer service and maintain accurate service documentation.

What You Bring
The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role requires an experienced technician to service, repair, and replace a wide range of automatic, swing, sliding, folding and storefront doors, including ADA operators and panic hardware. AAADM certification is preferred. Candidates must have at least two years of experience installing or servicing automatic doors, strong mechanical and carpentry skills, and a clean driving record for company vehicles. A positive, professional attitude, the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints, and detail‑oriented, customer‑service focus are essential. Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is a plus. • Utilize carpentry skills to frame partitions and install doors and windows. • Possess at least 2 years of automatic door service experience; AAADM certification preferred. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and maintain a clean driving record.
