About the Role
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. • Clean and prep surfaces by removing dirt, oil, grease, old paint, and wall coverings, and by filling and smoothing cracks and holes. • Identify material types (plaster, wood, brick, metal) and select appropriate paint formulations. • Mix and match colors accurately to meet project specifications. • Follow all safety and project rules, and perform additional duties as needed. • Participate in a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.

What You Bring
The Paint Applicator role focuses on demonstrating knowledge and skill when applying protective coatings to various surfaces. The position requires selecting appropriate materials and techniques to ensure a durable, high-quality finish. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least eighteen years old, and be comfortable working with their hands. A good eye for color, familiarity with different application methods, proper tool maintenance, and safe handling of paints, solvents, and adhesives are essential. Physical stamina to work for extended periods with arms raised overhead is also required.
