About the Role
• Perform general carpentry using hand and power tools to erect wooden structures, frames, walls, trim, doors, windows, and install floor and ceiling tiles. • Build concrete forms and scaffolding, install interior fixtures and cabinets, and conduct building maintenance and repairs. • Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to select materials and execute layouts. • Provide required citizenship documentation (birth certificate, passport, or INS) at hire.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED with relevant vocational training, possess at least two years of related experience (or five years in lieu of education), be a U.S. citizen eligible for a NASA badge, and have a valid Real ID driver’s license. They must also provide certified citizenship documentation at hire, communicate effectively in English, and clear a background check and drug screen. The role requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting of 30‑lb loads, extensive walking, bending, standing, and work overhead, as well as continuous use of PPE and the ability to endure extreme temperatures. Reasonable accommodations are available in accordance with ADA regulations. • Hold a high school diploma/GED with related vocational training and at least 2 years related experience (5 years may substitute education). • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a NASA badge and possess a valid Real ID driver’s license. • Pass pre‑employment background check and drug screening; demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication. • Meet physical demands: lift ≥30 lb, walk, bend, stoop, stand, and work overhead for extended periods; wear PPE continuously for six hours. • Ability to work in extreme cold or heat for up to three hours and navigate stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
