About the Role

The specialist will create and edit proposal content, source information through interviews and research, manage knowledge assets, coordinate multiple proposals, ensure quality and consistency, and collaborate with subject‑matter experts and graphic designers to produce compelling, strategically aligned materials. • Write, edit, and produce persuasive content for proposals, corporate databases, and sales documents. • Conduct interviews and research to gather relevant information for proposals. • Organize and upload content into corporate databases and archives. • Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure messaging consistency with corporate strategy. • Proofread and edit own and teammates’ work to meet client and in‑house style guidelines. • Coordinate multiple simultaneous proposals, creating outlines and storyboards. • Partner with graphic designers to develop visuals that enhance narrative content.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Principal Proposal Specialist to join our Business Development team, where you will craft persuasive narratives that showcase KBR’s capabilities and successes while contributing to a small, tightly‑knit group dedicated to excellence and growth. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have at least seven years of proposal development experience, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and proposal tools; preferred qualifications include persuasive storytelling, familiarity with SharePoint and Adobe Creative Suite, and flexibility for occasional overtime.
