About the Role

We are hiring a Trade Compliance Manager (Hybrid) for a permanent role in our Dublin office. The position is responsible for embedding Sandvik’s trade‑compliance policies into daily business operations and ensuring that export and import activities meet international regulations. Key duties include acquiring deep knowledge of business processes, championing compliance policies, leading SAP GTS projects, providing tactical management, verifying process adherence, delivering training, and fostering cross‑functional collaboration. The manager also monitors trade‑law changes, acts as a subject‑matter expert with customs authorities, and leads a global team of Trade Compliance Specialists while driving strategy, succession planning and core‑value promotion. • Drive and embed Trade Compliance policies across SMCL operations. • Lead trade compliance projects and SAP GTS system enhancements. • Provide daily tactical management and ensure process adherence and documentation. • Conduct training, promote knowledge sharing, and raise compliance awareness. • Collaborate with legal, finance, IT, R&D and operations stakeholders. • Monitor changes in international trade laws and communicate impacts. • Serve as subject‑matter expert liaising with customs and government agencies. • Manage and develop a global team of Trade Compliance Specialists. • Define strategy for the Trade Compliance function with the Finance Director. • Ensure succession planning and talent management within the team.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of trade‑compliance experience, with a minimum of two years in a managerial role, and possess expertise in ECCN classification, customs valuation, rules of origin, free‑trade agreements, Incoterms and AEO. Experience in logistics, supply‑chain, project and change management is highly desired. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is required, and the role may involve global travel as needed.
