About the Role

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Track and store department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility. • Crouch, bend, and reach to install or move equipment. • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Use a computer for 1–2 hours per day for typing and data entry.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, as well as installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field. • Knowledge of MHE safety standards per OEM and safety regulations. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and lift up to 50 lb. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. • Travel between departments, floors, and properties, averaging 6–12 miles per day.
