About the Role
The role involves producing machine parts per print for customer orders across various workstations in the ABM Department while adhering to ISO, safety and housekeeping standards. • Perform setup on ABM machines, including tooling changes and adjustments to ensure specifications are met. • Operate ABM machines by loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips. • Ensure conformance with quality specifications. • Troubleshoot machines and complete maintenance activities as needed. • Assist in training others on ABM machine operation and setup. • Track components and tools used on ABM machines such as hydraulic fittings, motors, drill heads, and saw blades. • Coordinate with planning/scheduling to assist with machine scheduling of production orders. • Support training of additional set‑up personnel. • Operate machinery according to print specifications, shop orders, and inspection charts.
