About the Role
The Maintenance Assistant supports residents by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. This role is instrumental in delivering superior customer service on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield. Core duties include preparing market‑ready apartments—painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs—responding promptly to resident requests, and performing basic maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. The assistant also maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas and dog park amenities, reports maintenance concerns, follows scheduled tasks, complies with fair‑housing laws, attends required training, dresses to company standards and safeguards tools and equipment. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs) • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests • Perform basic maintenance: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, snow removal • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities • Report maintenance concerns on vacant units and common areas to the supervisor • Follow scheduled maintenance tasks and fair‑housing regulations • Attend required training and adhere to company appearance standards • Safeguard company tools and equipment • Read policies and manuals; write routine reports and correspondence • Apply common‑sense judgment to follow written or diagrammed instructions • Solve routine problems involving known variables • Follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring
