About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. The role also includes training and mentoring both service and contract technicians. The position requires close collaboration across the Operations facility, fostering positive working relationships while ensuring all work follows safety procedures. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. • Create, assign, and close work orders, recording labor hours, maintenance actions, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures while mentoring junior technicians. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have at least four years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading, plus three years using a CMMS and two years programming PLCs. Experience in a team‑lead capacity, vendor management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also required, and flexibility to work variable shifts is expected. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher in mechanical or electrical fields and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The role involves physical tasks such as reaching overhead, kneeling, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and wearing required PPE while working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and automated conveyors. • Have 4+ years experience conducting preventative maintenance. • Possess 4+ years experience reading blueprints and schematics. • Have 3+ years experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Have 2+ years experience programming PLCs. • Demonstrate team‑lead experience supporting, training, and mentoring less‑experienced technicians. • Experience managing vendors. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred). • Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lb while wearing required PPE.
