About the Role
Within the Environment & Water practice, multidisciplinary experts support water and wastewater organisations in addressing climate change, net‑zero, water scarcity and environmental protection. The team works across the full project lifecycle, from pre‑contract estimating to post‑contract quantity surveying, delivering capital projects ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds to over £0.5 bn. The Senior Project Manager role leads complex workstreams on major UK infrastructure projects within the Environment and Water portfolio. The position involves delivering above‑ground and below‑ground water and wastewater construction, often on secondment to the client, and shaping the project management team’s direction. • Deliver commission obligations and drive internal project performance. • Build and maintain senior client relationships and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders. • Lead problem‑solving, decision‑making, and resource planning for project teams. • Manage commercial aspects of projects across varied contractual arrangements. • Travel to client sites 2‑3 days per week, with possible overnight stays. • Participate in employee ownership model with performance bonuses and direct voice to senior leadership.

What You Bring
• Hold an engineering or project management degree and be a MAPM member with APM PMQ or equivalent qualification. • Possess extensive project management experience, particularly in water and environmental sectors. • Demonstrate strong client‑facing, communication, and commercial acumen.
