About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will join the Operations Maintenance Team to repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout our buildings. You will also install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. Additionally, you will create, assign, and close work orders, track labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used, manage department inventory, mentor junior technicians, and maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility. • Perform preventative maintenance on material handling and pneumatic equipment. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues on conveyors, motors, sensors, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders while tracking labor hours and parts in a CMMS. • Manage department inventory and ensure proper use of PPE. • Mentor junior technicians and maintain positive workplace relationships.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, and knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. Experience with a CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required, along with the ability to work flexible schedules. Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with OEM safety standards, and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The role requires physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders or aerial lifts, and regularly lifting up to 50 lb of equipment. You must wear appropriate PPE, including hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes, and be prepared to move between departments and floors, walking an average of 6‑12 miles per day in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Required: high school diploma, 2+ years MHE repair, predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, electrical principles knowledge. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, robotic system experience, familiarity with OEM safety standards. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work overhead, use aerial lift, and walk 6‑12 mi daily.
