About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician works within the Operations Maintenance team to ensure the reliable operation of material handling and pneumatic systems across the facility. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other departments while adhering to safety standards and maintaining accurate records. • Conduct preventative maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) and record activities. • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and related components. • Install, service, and troubleshoot automated packaging and distribution machinery. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians. • Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe workplace culture. • Manage inventory and parts tracking through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Operate on flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and up to 12‑hour shifts. • Travel to other sites up to 20 % of the work time. • Apply OEM and industry safety standards for equipment operation. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb, standing on concrete, and working in confined or noisy spaces.
