About the Role

The role offers a broad scope, including general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrades, maintenance and repair of water, sewerage and drainage systems, backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing, and prompt response to service requests and urgent repairs. Downer creates and sustains essential public services across Australia and New Zealand, managing critical infrastructure such as hospitals, data centres and Defence partnerships, and has received awards including Estate & Infrastructure Business of the Year (2025) and Prime Contractor of the Year (2024, 2025). • Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrades according to PAS service definitions. • Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage, and other plumbing systems across the base. • Conduct backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified. • Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs.

A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential.
