Senior Mechanical Engineer
Lead design and delivery of large‑scale mechanical systems for aviation/transport projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. • Design large mechanical projects and prepare reports and specifications. • Participate in QA/QC processes for staff work. • Perform Engineer of Record duties for projects. • Conduct calculations, equipment selection, system design, layout, field investigation, and construction administration. • Manage and review staff resources. • Produce drawings that meet client requirements and standards. • Provide consulting services such as due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility studies. • Take responsibility for discipline-specific issues, including errors and omissions. • Supervise 1‑2 employees and lead EOR or Project Manager for projects up to $100M construction costs. • Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines, focusing on constructability and cost.

What You Bring
• Hold a current PE registration as a Mechanical Engineer. • Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. • Have at least 8 years of consulting experience. • Possess 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience. • LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred. • Demonstrate working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. • Experience in aviation/transportation and large‑scale projects is preferred.
