About the Role
The role is for a Construction Administrator on a multi‑year Design‑Build project at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, working closely with construction leadership and subcontractors. The position supports field office activities, communications, and project financials. Key duties include coordinating office operations, handling correspondence, managing supplies, scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, reconciling accounts, processing bills, and obtaining vendor bids. The administrator also assists with budget administration, inventory control, time‑report verification, and office space logistics, and may represent the office at client meetings. • Coordinate field office activities and operations • Manage phone calls, correspondence, and meeting scheduling • Track office supplies, place orders, and maintain inventory • Prepare presentations and financial reports as requested • Reconcile office accounts and process operating bills • Obtain competitive vendor bids and recommend purchase/lease arrangements • Administer project office operating budget and report variances • Verify time reports for accuracy and proper charge coding • Oversee office moves, telephone changes, and space utilization • Communicate project updates to manager and represent office at client meetings

What You Bring
Required skills are strong written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities, along with proficiency in Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Familiarity with company policies, multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines is also expected. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in accounting, finance, or business and at least five years of administrative experience, preferably in government contracting. Knowledge of the Davis‑Bacon Act, reporting requirements, and a security clearance are beneficial, though none is required. • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication and organizational skills • Proficient in MS Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases • Hold an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 5+ years administrative experience • Experience in government contracting and familiarity with Davis‑Bacon Act reporting
