About the Role
As a Lead Process Engineer you will provide process leadership for paper machine clothing across Family Care and Kimberly‑Clark Professional categories, partnering with R&D, pilot plants, mill teams, and external vendors to drive innovation, capacity, safety and obsolescence solutions. You will also mentor team members, ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards, and document innovations through technical letters, patents and trade secrets. • Lead process evaluation and execution of paper machine clothing for Family Care and Professional product lines. • Collaborate with R&D, pilot plant, mills, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and capacity improvements. • Communicate project status and technical decisions to stakeholders and document innovations through technical letters, patents, and trade secrets. • Coach and mentor team members, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards. • Manage project assignments, influence R&D decisions, and work with supply chain, finance, and procurement to meet goals.

Preferred applicants bring five or more years of relevant experience, expertise in paper manufacturing and fabric design, and a proven track record of cross‑functional networking and mentorship. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in STEM, 3+ years in production or R&D, strong communication/influence, ability to lead trial plans and analyze data, 25% travel. • Preferred: Bachelor’s in engineering/science, 5+ years experience, expertise in paper manufacturing, weave structures, trial leadership, DOE, profilometry, microscopy, cross‑functional networking, mentoring.
