Group Leader - Central Distribution Center

About the Role

The Group Leader role is part of a fast‑paced omnichannel distribution center that thrives on teamwork and growth. You will provide people‑first leadership on a 12‑hour shift, coaching and developing both leaders and staff while driving safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. The position requires continuous improvement of the CDC and mentorship to inspire daily advancements. You will oversee roughly 100 fulfillment team members and 3‑6 supervisors, handling short‑ to mid‑term planning, budget management, and project coordination. Responsibilities include leading safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement projects, developing standardized work procedures, and supporting new customer initiatives. You will foster employee engagement, promote a safe work environment, and apply data analysis and structured problem‑solving tools. Additional duties cover staffing coordination, payroll record keeping, vacation and absenteeism management, and long‑term business development planning. • Lead a shift of ~100 fulfillment team members and 3‑6 supervisors, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. • Develop and coach team leaders, fostering employee engagement and continuous improvement (5S, CI). • Plan and manage staffing, budget, and project coordination for short‑ to mid‑term operational goals. • Drive improvement projects across safety, quality, delivery, and cost using data analysis and problem‑solving tools. • Oversee payroll records, vacation time, and absenteeism for team members.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include five years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment setting, and a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Candidates must demonstrate success in inspiring large teams, acting as an agent of change, and coaching subordinate leaders. Strong digital literacy, independence, and a commitment to collaboration and inclusiveness are also required. • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in distribution/fulfillment; degree in supply chain or related preferred. • Demonstrated ability to inspire large teams, act as a change agent, and deliver results with urgency. • Strong digital literacy and the ability to work independently.

The full‑time Shift 2 position offers a salary range of $65,900‑$103,400, based on experience, education, location, and skills.
