About the Role
• Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Lead teams using advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices • Develop technical solutions using existing technologies and experience • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and ensure compliance with regulations • Analyze financial statements and track project budgets • Work with minimal direction while providing periodic reports to the area manager • Oversee preparation of work plans and organize project studies • Handle complex assignments requiring unique solutions with team support • Supervise junior and mid‑level staff throughout all project phases • Conduct reviews and give staff feedback for continuous improvement • Team management and resource scheduling to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery • Led teams on site investigations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, risk assessments, treatability studies, remedial design, and remedial action construction for Federal projects

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Omaha, NE office, supporting the Environmental business line and primarily overseeing Federal environmental remediation projects. The role may be performed remotely and involves leading technical staff, managing project invoicing, cash flow, and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years relevant experience (or equivalent) • Valid US driver’s license and US citizenship required • Professional license (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) preferred • 10+ years experience in environmental remediation project management • Master’s degree in a related engineering or geology field preferred • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations • Experience managing Federal environmental projects (USACE, AFCEC, Navy) • Working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills • Superior writing, editing, and reporting for varied audiences • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally
