About the Role
The General Manager (GM) of Industrial Property Management oversees a portfolio of industrial assets in line with JLL standards and the Management Agreement. They work directly with clients to understand investment objectives, develop property‑specific strategic plans, and ensure strong communication with building owners and tenants. Day‑to‑day, the GM will develop annual operating budgets and capital plans, analyze financial performance, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. They will conduct on‑site property visits, coordinate repairs, ensure accurate tenant billing, and maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. • Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans; produce accurate monthly financial reports. • Analyze financial performance, prepare detailed reports, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Conduct on‑site property visits, inspections, and coordinate repairs per management agreements. • Ensure accurate and timely tenant billings and follow‑up on accounts receivable. • Oversee compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. • Implement tenant satisfaction program and hold regular tenant meetings. • Manage competitive bidding for third‑party services, ensuring adherence to JLL standards. • Lead and develop the property team, fostering continuous learning and career advancement.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field, and have at least seven years of progressive leadership experience in commercial industrial property management. A proven record of budget management, client relationship development, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with real‑estate software are essential, while a valid real‑estate license or the ability to obtain one is required. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field. • Minimum 7 years progressive leadership experience in commercial industrial property management. • Proven track record managing operating budgets and achieving financial targets. • Strong client relationship management and business development experience in CRE. • Excellent financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. • Proficiency with real estate management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office. • Valid real estate license or ability to obtain within required timeframe. • Preferred: Real Estate and Property Manager licenses within six months, LEED GA or equivalent certifications, extensive industry network.
