Coordinate and supervise protective security operations for U.S. Embassy in Somalia.

About the Role
• Coordinate contractor‑provided protective operations and manage the protection cell in the RSO Tactical Operations Center. • Evaluate threatening situations and request deployment of additional resources such as Emergency Response Teams or Quick Response Forces. • Operate communications equipment, monitor and relay radio traffic, and maintain contact with external entities via voice and text technologies. • Prepare daily and weekly reports, maintain watch records, and ensure protective security details submit required mission paperwork. • Monitor protective security details and assist with their mission planning. • Maintain a database of all protective missions. • Brief senior U.S. Embassy personnel during emergency situations. • Maintain an active Personnel Security Clearance and meet the 65 % performance level on the Physical Readiness Test throughout service.

What You Bring
• U.S. citizenship and successful completion of the pre‑employment Physical Readiness Test. • Minimum three years of protective services experience on WPS III contracts (or two years with six months in the TO area). • At least seven years of protective security assignments, including two years in a supervisory or in‑charge role. • Completion of the required supervisory course and PSS training as specified in WPS III IDIQ. • Qualification with Glock‑19, M4 or MK18, M240, and M249, with re‑qualification as required. • No impediments to travel to dangerous or unhealthy overseas locations. • Ability to temporarily fill alternate positions as needed.
