About the Role
As part of the High‑Performance Solution Team, you will deliver high‑performance building energy modeling and sustainability analysis, support the firm’s MEP 2040 Challenge, and act as a consultant to drive electrification and decarbonization for clients and internal teams. • Energy efficiency measure analysis • Support for green building certifications (LEED, WELL, LBC, RESET, etc.) • Energy auditing • Consultation on sustainability strategies, innovative technologies, and industry trends • Deliver internal and external lunch‑&‑learn training sessions • Collaborate with owners, architects, and MEP engineers on energy and water efficiency strategies for HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems • Review and evaluate architectural and engineering drawings; visualize 3‑D models

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have experience at a consulting design firm working on commercial buildings, aviation, higher‑education, civic, healthcare, and mission‑critical projects. Based in Boston, you will help design major projects across diverse markets and locations. Candidates should be focused on energy modeling, stay current with sustainability tools and standards, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Required abilities include reading and visualizing architectural and engineering drawings, proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, and expertise in simulation tools. A minimum of seven years of consulting experience in energy modeling, knowledge of building codes, and LEED/WELL accreditation (or pursuit thereof) are essential. • Whole building energy modeling (IES-VE required) • Proficiency in EnergyPlus, Design Builder, OpenStudio, eQuest, or willingness to learn IES-VE • Knowledge of local and national energy codes and policies • Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD design tools • Competency with simulation tools (IESVE, EnergyPro, CBECC, EnergyPlus, eQuest, PVWATTS, etc.) • Minimum 7 years consulting experience in energy modeling • Understanding of system selection and applicable building codes • Knowledge of LEED and WELL design principles • LEED and WELL accreditation (or pursuing)
